DESCRIPTION OF WORK As a seasonal Park Maintenance Worker at Pine Grove Furnace State Park, you will ensure the park's 176-acre operations run smoothly. Your responsibilities include: Semi-skilled manual work in the construction and maintenance of various buildings, grounds or public works projects Cleaning sanitary facilities in picnic areas and campgrounds are effective Painting and staining park signs and structures Assisting tradespeople in cutting lumber, mixing concrete, and renovating buildings Using a chainsaw to remove hazardous trees and trim branches Mowing grass to maintain the park's appearance Handling garbage collection and disposal efficiently Your contributions are essential for maintaining the park's facilities and creating a clean, safe, and enjoyable environment for all visitors. Work Schedule and Additional Information: Seasonal full-time employment without benefits. Shift hours and days vary due to operational need, with a 30-minute lunch Weekends, holidays, and all shifts as needed at 37.5 hours per week You will receive further communication regarding this position via email. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year of experience in laboring work including the use of tools and equipment used in maintenance or construction; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.
