DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a seasonal Park Maintenance Worker at Pine Grove Furnace State Park, you will ensure the park's 176-acre operations run smoothly. Your responsibilities include:
- Semi-skilled manual work in the construction and maintenance of various buildings, grounds or public works projects
- Cleaning sanitary facilities in picnic areas and campgrounds are effective
- Painting and staining park signs and structures
- Assisting tradespeople in cutting lumber, mixing concrete, and renovating buildings
- Using a chainsaw to remove hazardous trees and trim branches
- Mowing grass to maintain the park's appearance
- Handling garbage collection and disposal efficiently

- Seasonal full-time employment without benefits.
- Shift hours and days vary due to operational need, with a 30-minute lunch

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year of experience in laboring work including the use of tools and equipment used in maintenance or construction; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Other Requirements:
