Position: Physician Assistant II

Job Description:

Johns Hopkins Hospital (JHH) is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Physician Assistant II to join our specialty team . This role is ideal for a motivated professional who is passionate about providing exceptional patient care and is looking to balance work with personal commitments.

Key Responsibilities:




  • Provide advanced clinical care in a specialized area of medicine.
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement therapeutic interventions.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
  • Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and JHH protocols.
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical records.



Qualifications:




  • Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Current certification as a Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
  • Valid state license to practice as a Physician Assistant.
  • Minimum of two years of clinical experience, preferably in a specialty area.
  • Strong clinical skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work weekends and adapt to a flexible schedule.



Preferred Qualifications:




  • Experience in a specialized medical field, particularly in conducting Echos and Nuclear readings.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical record systems.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and learning.
