Financial Planning & Analysis Intern

The FP&A Intern will be supporting the Director of FP&A with monthly reporting packages for company leadership reviews, building out and/or maintaining Power BI database for centralized division reporting, and reviewing Business Unit forecast accuracy.

Must be willing and eager to learn!

Potential Projects:

• Build out and/or maintain Power BI database for centralized division analytics. Leverage database to drive insights and automated dashboards/reporting.
• Build out and/or maintain Business Unit forecast accuracy report, providing insights to drive greater accuracy.

Review monthly consolidated division forecasts for variance vs. budget, prior forecast and prior year

• Team player, positive attitude
• Very interested in financial space with a desire to develop a career in the field
• Capacity for problem solving and demonstrated multi-task capabilities. Ability to innovate and simplify current processes and practices
• Microsoft business software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook). Excel experience including pivot tables, functions and equations necessary
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills

Preferred majors:

Rising Juniors or Seniors preferred with a focus in Accounting or Finance

• Hands-on experience working with and learning from cross functional leadership
• Exposure to a multi-billion dollar, fast-paced manufacturing company that places an emphasis on sustainability initiatives
• Develop key skills through Intern Events focused on your growth and development - focus on networking, resume writing/interview preparation, and guidance on creating and delivering presentations
• This is a paid internship at a rate of $21.00.
