Pay rate: $26 - $32/hr.

Schedule: 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday - Friday

Commercial Maintenance Technician essential tasks:



  • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs per work orders while ensuring compliance with company procedures and safety standards.
  • Conduct minor plumbing maintenance, including unclogging drains, repairing leaks, and replacing fixtures.
  • Carry out routine painting, carpentry, and drywall repairs to maintain facilities in like-new condition.
  • Perform minor electrical maintenance, such as replacing light bulbs, switches, outlets, and fixtures within state law requirements.
  • Utilize technology (tablet, smartphone) to complete work orders, submit reports, and log expenses.
  • Maintain communication with clients and internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and service quality.
  • Provide estimates for larger projects, attend safety training, and complete additional assigned duties as needed.


Qualifications:



  • High school diploma, degree, or certification in Trades (Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing) preferred, with 2-5 years of mechanical experience or equivalent training.
  • Must have applicable certifications, licenses, and a valid driver's license in good standing.
  • Ability to read and follow instructions, write reports, and effectively communicate in small group settings.
  • Proficient in using handheld devices, business systems, and software like Microsoft Office for documentation and communication.
  • Perform repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting of building systems while ensuring compliance with safety regulations, OSHA standards, and company policies, with daily local travel between properties.
