The Job at a Glance

The Senior FP&A Analyst position on the Consolidations/Reporting/FP&A Team that works closely with and reports to the Director of FP&A. The role works on reporting and analyses at a consolidated level, which will give the opportunity to work with multiple entities around the world.

A Typical Day

  • Consolidate the Parts Town Unlimited monthly forecast, annual budget, and three-year plan including the P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow.
  • Prepare and maintain metric driven balance sheet forecast models for multiple Divisions with multiple entities.
  • Prepare monthly results package, quarterly and ad hoc presentations for the Board of Director and other key stakeholders, and other presentations with consolidated views.
  • Own monthly comparison and analysis of current forecast against budget, prior year, and prior forecast including the foreign exchange impacts of multiple currency on the P&L results.
  • Own metric calculations and analysis for multiple Divisions in multiple currencies (including but not limited to DSO, DIO, DPO, NWC, cashflow).
  • Assist with OneStream system implementation and adoption of new functionality, specifically with report building, account mapping reviews and tie outs, sharing OneStream knowledge with the Division business partners.
  • Support Division business partners with reporting, OneStream requests/questions, ad hoc requests, forecast, and budget.

To Land This Opportunity

  • You have 5+ years of experience in Accounting and FP&A, with a Bachelor's in Accounting with CPA or a Master's Degree in Accounting.
  • You are proficient in GAAP, journal entry preparation, chart of account structures/roll-ups, financial statements (P&L, Trial Balance, Balance Sheet, Cashflow), financial modeling, and lease amortization schedules.
  • You have experience with consolidation/financial planning systems (e.g., Essbase/SmartView, IBM PAX/ Cafe, Business Intelligence tools); OneStream preferred.
  • You also have advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills (pivot tables, advanced formulas, charts, conditional formatting, data validation). You can reverse-engineer Excel reporting files/forecast models to understand calculations/data sources and independently resolve variances.
  • You have experience in quantitative and qualitative analysis, including reviewing/analyzing financial statements, KPIs, and foreign exchange impacts.
  • You can effectively communicate financial concepts to all levels of the organization.
  • You're self-motivated, work independently under general guidance, detail-oriented with emphasis on accuracy, and able to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.

The salary range for this role is $90,706.95 -$121,366.96 annually which is based on including but not limited to qualifications, experience, and geographical location. Parts Town is a pay for performance-company. In addition to base pay, some roles offer a profit-sharing program, and an annual bonus depending on the role. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k) with match, employee assistance programs, paid time off, paid sick time off, paid holidays, paid parental leave, and professional development opportunities.
