What's the Gig?
As our Catering Event Sales Manager, you'll be the driving force behind unforgettable events at our 20,000-square-foot conference center and 12 stunning meeting rooms. From corporate conferences to dream weddings, you'll be the mastermind behind it all! We're looking for someone who can hit the ground running, build new client relationships, and structure our department for success. If you're driven, love prospecting, and can juggle multiple tasks while keeping things fun and professional, you're exactly who we need!
What You'll Be Doing:
- Partner with the Director of Sales and General Manager to maximize event revenue.
- Prospect new clients, businesses, and partnerships to keep our event calendar full.
- Develop sales strategies and execute creative marketing initiatives.
- Coordinate all aspects of event sales - from contracts to execution - ensuring top-notch experiences.
- Lead client meetings, site tours, and be the go-to person for event planning success.
- Work closely with internal teams to deliver seamless, show-stopping events.
- Represent Embassy Suites at industry events, trade shows, and community gatherings to build brand awareness.
What We're Looking For:
- Personable, outgoing, and relationship-driven - someone who can charm a room and close a deal!
- Event experience - whether you've managed large-scale conferences, corporate events, or epic parties, we want your expertise.
- A self-starter who loves a challenge - we need someone who isn't afraid to take the lead and make things happen.
- Top-notch multitasker - because in the world of events, no two days are the same!
- Fantastic communicator - with both internal teams and external clients.
- A closer - someone who is hungry to win new business and keep our calendar full!
- Willing to work the occasional night, weekend, or holiday (because the best events don't always happen 9-5!).
The Perks:
- Base salary of $50,000 + quarterly bonus potential (cha-ching!)
