Introduction to the job
ASML is one of the world's leading manufacturers of lithography systems that help enable Moore's Law and the creation of increasingly powerful and capable electronic devices. As part of ASML, we will boost ASML's holistic lithographic portfolio of (i) lithography exposure systems, (ii) computational lithography and (iii) metrology. Between these three cornerstones ASML offers application products for process window enhancement, control and detection. We are located in the heart of San Jose and growing! This position may require access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. * 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require the Company to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology. Role and responsibilities This position is within the D&E Department, which is responsible is for the specification, design, implementation, integration, testing and optimizing of the ASML HMI's E-beam inspection and metrology products. ASML-HMI Hardware Engineering group in Performance & Integration Department is focusing on the system hardware related performance verification, optimization and improvement of the Scanning Electronic Microscopy (SEM) machines, and solving system level performance issues and challenges. On this role, the On Product Performance Intern will work on system performance investigation and optimization with data and models, including system hardware status monitoring, hardware evaluation with prediction, hardware related performance optimization with data processing and learning algorithms, and system level performance issue diagnostics. Education and experience Bachelor's degree or above in engineering or related field Catch up the ASML way of working (WoW) and processes.
