Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Change and Deployment Manager with 12 to 16 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Akana Lifecycle Manager, Mainframe SCM adm - Endevor Sitecore, Release & Deployment, SAP Release Strategies, Release Orchestration, Pega Release Management and Release Management. This role is hybrid and requires day shifts with no travel.

Responsibilities:

• Release team is responsible for handling code elevations across various application portfolios through service requests and incidents received from application teams
• The Code elevations are performed in different environments like Mainframe, Distributed and SAP based on the application design and release requirements. These elevations are performed manually now due to its critical nature. The process might be automated in future
• Mainframe experience, particularly with Endeavor for handling packages and promotions would be the key skill required for this role. This is critical due to the highly manual nature of the elevations and high-risk nature of the requests.
• SAP Elevations are again manual and includes SAP Charm link elevations
• Team is also responsible for administering Akana API Gateway, particularly for higher environments. API Gateway certificates (Venafi) need to be run and renewed when requested by application team, particularly for production environments
• Application teams might require assistance from release team post implementation due to issues, presence on those triage calls would be needed
• Team will generate regular statistical and overall performance reports to the key collaborators for the aligning with clients. Critical metrics and SLAs are also mapped based on these criteria to measure the quality of work
• Team's presence might also be needed for performing annual disaster recovery related activities

Qualifications: Must have extensive experience and knowledge:

• With Akana Lifecycle Manager.
• Strong knowledge of Mainframe SCM adm Endevor
• Expertise in Sitecore release and deployment.
• Experience with SAP release strategies.
• Skills in release orchestration.
• Experience with Pega Release Management.
• Nice to have experience in hybrid work models.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to run multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience in providing training and support.
• Strong problem-solving skills.

Certifications: would be a plus

• Certified Release Manager Akana
• Certified Professional Pega
• Certified System Architect

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
