Job Description

Coffman Engineers is seeking a Project Manager with 3-5 years of experience to assist our team in defining a project, developing a set of tasks to accomplish the project, coordinate and monitor the work involved in the tasks, and deliver a final product on time and within budget. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, have a desire to work and grow with a multi-discipline engineering team, and successfully work with others to achieve goals.

What you will be responsible for:

  • Supervise and manage a small to medium-sized multidiscipline design or construction project with supervision.
  • Maintain favorable business relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors.
  • Make routine project decisions regarding design and contracts.
  • Involvement in client, civic or professional groups.
  • Understand budget, schedule, and quality aspects as related to design and construction projects.
  • Good verbal, written and organizational skills.
  • Possess computer skills necessary for daily activities including email, word processing, spreadsheets, graphics, and, if applicable, a working knowledge of computer-aided drafting and Revit.
  • Performs other duties as may be assigned.
Qualifications
  • BS degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or related science required.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years in direct construction project experience preferred.
  • Able to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Possess strong critical thinking, organizational, and analytical abilities.
  • Able to maintain positive working relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

Expected annual salary of $80,000 - $105,000.
