About the Role

As a Manufacturing Team Leader, you'll play a vital role in driving operational excellence on the production floor. Your leadership will empower and develop our team members to achieve outstanding results in safety, quality, efficiency, and cost management. Using the Hollister Production System (HPS), you will coach and guide employees, resolve challenges, and foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

What You'll Do

Lead & Support Your Team



  • Motivate, coach, and develop team members to meet daily production goals.
  • Foster a positive, engaging workplace where employees feel valued and empowered.
  • Conduct performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and support career growth.
  • Ensure all team members receive proper training and development opportunities.



Drive Operational Excellence



  • Spend 70% of your time on the production floor, guiding employees and ensuring best practices.
  • Monitor performance metrics and take action to improve efficiency, quality, and safety.
  • Lead shift meetings and communicate key updates across teams.
  • Assist in setting and achieving machine production rate goals.



Ensure a Safe & High-Quality Work Environment



  • Maintain a safe workplace by identifying and addressing safety risks.
  • Conduct incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
  • Support quality initiatives and compliance with FDA and industry standards.



Plan & Optimize Staffing



  • Manage workforce needs, including scheduling and cross-training team members.
  • Partner with leadership to ensure the right skills and experience are in place.
  • Interview and help select new team members.



What You Bring

Requirements:




  • Bachelor's Degree Highly Preferred
  • Three (3) years of working experience in a formal or informal leadership position (shift leader, group leader, management resource, etc.) is preferred
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to build and maintain trust in a team environment
  • Critical Thinking and problem-solving techniques (5-Y, etc.) preferred
  • Lean Production System/Operational Excellence (5S, LSW, VPM, etc) preferred
  • Familiarity with manufacturing ERP systems and shop floor data acquisition preferred
  • Medical Device or other FDA related manufacturing experience preferred

*The anticipated base salary range for this position is $67,489 - $96,412 .The actual salary varies based on applicant's location, education, experience, skills, abilities, and other legitimate business factors.
