Crescent Hotels and Resorts is seeking an experienced individual to join our team at the Colonial Williamsburg Resort to fill the position of Director of Golf, to direct and oversee all aspects of Golf Operations including its activities and relationships between guests, associates, and community and ensure maximum guest/member satisfaction and financial performance.

Here is what you will be doing:



  • Develop, implement, and monitor annual budget, revenue goals and expenses for operations departments.
  • Provide timely and accurate reporting of all financial and non-financial information as directed, requested, or required by CHR management or representatives.
  • Monitor monthly and other financial reports/statements on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis for the facility and takes effective corrective action when necessary.
  • Develop, maintain, and administer sound organizational plans and initiate improvements as necessary.
  • Maintain membership with the PGA and/or CMAA and other professional associations. Attend workshops and meetings to keep abreast of current information and developments.
  • Oversee the care and maintenance of all the facilities physical assets.
  • Coordinate marketing programs designed to promote the facility's services to potential customers.
  • Ensure the highest standards of quality for food and beverage service on property.
  • Implement policies and procedures for the Golf, Food and Beverage, and Maintenance Departments, including compliance of all company standards relating to quality of products and services.
  • Responsible for interviewing, hiring, training, planning, assigning, and directing work, evaluating performance, rewarding, and disciplining associates; addressing complaints and resolving problems.


Qualifications we are seeking:




  • Bachelor's degree (BA); or four to six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


  • Class A member of PGA/LPGA.
  • Excellent communication, leadership and customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with computerized POS and tee time system.
