Position Overview

We are seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented R&D Technician to support the development, analysis, and scaling of new products, materials, processes, and equipment. This role will work closely with R&D engineers and scientists to ensure accurate testing, data collection, and optimization of pilot and production systems.


Key Responsibilities

Equipment Design & Setup - Assist in the design, setup, and operation of pilot and production equipment for research and development.

Method Development - Develop and refine testing methodologies for evaluating equipment and process performance.

Process Measurement & Analysis - Measure, analyze, and control key process variables to ensure system stability and efficiency.

Scale-Up Support - Assist in scaling processes and equipment for expected production capacities.

Mechanical Testing - Perform mechanical testing to assess material properties and system functionality.

Quality & Compliance - Maintain a high standard of accuracy and documentation while ensuring compliance with quality system requirements.


Required Qualifications

Education & Experience:

AA Degree or equivalent work experience in a related field

1+ year of relevant experience in R&D, production, or testing environments

Technical Skills:

Experience in testing and development (1-2 years preferred)

Knowledge of mechanical testing methodologies (1-2 years preferred)

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise testing procedures


Preferred Qualifications

Hands-on experience in production environments

Strong analytical skills with a problem-solving mindset

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within an R&D team
