Summer 2025 Intern - Internal Audit Primary Work Location:
Normal Work Schedule: 40 hour per week position with schedule flexibility Job Summary: The University of Massachusetts Office of the President seeks UMass students for an Intern for Summer 2025 in the division of University Internal Audit (IA). The internship is ideal for a current UMass undergraduate or graduate student who is eager to learn, inspired to think analytically, excited by public service, and motivated to communicate complicated ideas clearly. The selected intern will gain valuable insights into Internal Audit's role at the University and the operations of and systems used by various departments across the University. The internship will be project-based and require frequent collaboration with colleagues within IA, the broader President's Office, and campuses. Under the guidance of Internal Audit Management and Senior Auditors, the Intern will support Internal Audit's goals by taking part in evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of the University's operations, compliance with policy and regulations, and systems of internal control. This internship is full-time for summer 2025, with a pay rate of $17 per hour. In addition to being a paid internship, academic credit may also be available.
