This position would be preferably located at one of the customers work locations with a hybrid telework schedule but has the option to be fully remote.

Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be working with our client's engineering and project management teams to coordinate the delivery their product. They have contractual and technical requirements that you will work with them to meet. Our client will be rapidly expanding their product and you will be helping them as they scale up. You will be working with our client to help manage risks, issues, and technical requirements. You will be responsible for creating project forecasts across all teams to be coordinated with prospective product customers. You will be responsible for briefing executive leadership on project status, risks, and mitigation plans. You will use your expertise in cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001/27002, GDPR, ISM, etc to ensure compliance of our client's product.

In performing this role, you will be required to:



  • Work with our clients engineering and program management teams.
  • Help our customer with their delivery of their product and the scaling efforts.
  • Work with our client to help manage risks, issues, and tasks.
  • Ensure timelines and milestones are met based on contractual requirements.
  • Evaluate customer's international cybersecurity framework compliance needs and requirements against CSP's Product readiness.
  • Coordinate with clients Project Management and Engineering teams on those items into actionable tasks and projects.
  • Identify security gaps and vulnerabilities and provide actionable recommendations for remediation.
  • Review customer contracts and identify specific security and compliance requirements.
  • Ensure that information systems and processes align with contractual obligations.
  • Conduct audits and assessments to verify compliance with customer-specific requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and customers to address any compliance gaps or concerns.
  • Develop and maintain risk registers and risk treatment plans.
  • Monitor and report on the status of risk mitigation efforts.
  • Stay abreast of evolving security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to security controls, processes, and procedures.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of security policies, standards, and guidelines.
  • Provide project forecasts and effort estimations to all stakeholders.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Assurance, or a related discipline and has at least 7 or more years of experience in an Information Security Management Role.Additional experience may be substituted for a degree.
  • The candidate must have experience with cloud service providers such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.
  • The candidate must have experience with the deployment and scaling of cloud based applications and systems.
  • Expertise in international cybersecurity frameworks such as ISO 27001/27002, GDPR, ISM, etc.
  • Understanding of legal and regulatory requirements such as HIPPA, PCI, etc.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to document findings accurately.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience working with government entities, particularly on projects with national security implications, is highly desirable.
  • A strong understanding and background of engineering organizations and processes to effectively collaborate with internal teams.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Have experience with contract management and legal compliance principles is a plus.
