ABOUT THE JOB

Provide superior day-to-day talent acquisition to assigned teams in order to deliver business results. Partners closely with department or business segment HR Business Partner to align talent acquisition with business strategy and Hawkins hiring standards. The role manages day-to-day recruiting activities and may also support Human Resource-related processes, such as talent development, employee relations, diversity initiatives and retention.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Lead full-cycle recruitment efforts to ensure the most efficient processes are utilized to attract & select top talent, including sourcing, screening, and guiding the interview and selection process.
  • Drive appropriate sourcing strategy for each position and develop a pool of qualified candidates using sourcing strategies such as passive candidate sourcing, recruiting tools, social media, partner agencies, etc.
  • Advise and assist managers in recruiting best practices, such as effective interview skills, preparing and utilizing interview guides, and selecting top talent for their groups.
  • Work with Recruiting Manager to recommend and drive innovative talent acquisition projects and process improvements.
  • Evaluate and manage agreements with search firms for broad or function-specific search assignments.
  • Provide support for the Applicant Tracking System functionality and administration, including continuous improvement of the delivery and tools.
  • Contribute to the pre-hire and onboarding process for new employees to ensure they have the necessary information and experience to be successful.
  • Contribute as a project team member for key strategic business initiatives
  • Identify and implement opportunities for improvement of core Human Resource service delivery and efficiency
  • Support opportunities to enhance employee engagement and culture and inclusion
  • Perform other miscellaneous related duties, as needed.


                ABOUT YOU:



                  • BA / BS degree required, or equivalent experience
                  • 10+ years of recruiting experience, including talent sourcing, including at least 3 years in-house; prior manufacturing and multi-site experience preferred
                  • Prior experience utilizing and/or supporting Applicant Tracking Systems required
                  • Ability to work with and develop strong relationships at all levels within an organization
                  • Strong negotiation and prioritization skills
                  • Approach work in a customer-focused manner, to deliver coaching and solutions that are supportive of our customers' needs
                  • Must be an effective communicator at all levels and enjoy working in a team environment
                  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and persuade decision makers
                  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive matters with discretion
                  • Demonstrated knowledge of federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations
                  • Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft applications - Outlook, Word, Excel


                        PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

                        Ability to work in an office setting

                        TRAVEL

                        Ability to travel as required for the role, up to 15%

                        Expected Compensation: $75,000-$85,000 + 5% bonus eligibility
