As an Account/Sales Manager, you will be accountable for driving the profitable growth by identifying pursuing and closing business opportunities for existing and prospect Airports and Airlines customers. You will be the ultimate owner of the customer relationship by becoming the trusted advisor to the client. The Account Manager will lead a (virtual) team assigned to support the account and sales opportunities.

We are looking for candidates located in Utah, Oregon, Washington and/or Nevada.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Sales Leadership: Drive all sales activities to meet short- and long-term objectives; formulate strategic direction for account growth.
  • Account Management: Oversee assigned Airports and Airlines accounts; identify prospects and convert them into new accounts.
  • Team Coordination: Support and coach the virtual team involved in account management and sales to ensure sustainable and profitable growth.
  • Business Planning: Develop and implement a documented business plan aligning with SITA's and assigned accounts' goals.
  • Account Development: Maintain and execute ongoing Account Development Plan reviews to ensure alignment and identify growth opportunities.
  • Client Relationships: Build and manage relationships with clients and key stakeholders; serve as a trusted advisor to ensure customer loyalty and satisfaction.
  • Market Insight: Understand customer operations and business needs to identify opportunities for SITA's business expansion.
  • Opportunity Creation: Provide unique perspectives during discussions; align insights with customer priorities to reshape their business views.
  • Pipeline Development: Collaborate with Marketing for demand generation; convert qualified leads into sales opportunities and maintain accurate sales forecasts.
  • Service Delivery: Ensure all customer requests are addressed, and services are delivered as per agreed schedules.

Qualifications

ABOUT YOUR SKILLS

  • 5+ years' experience in sales function; preferably within ATI (Air Transport Industry) and IT sector.
  • Experience in building client relationships at Senior Executive and Senior Manager level.
  • Achieving revenue growth for the assigned territory
  • Managing sales in large and complex deals including financial structuring negotiations and closing.
  • Proven successful experience in business development pipeline management in large turnover environment.
  • Experience in facilitating and driving account development plans.
  • Positive customer service experience.
  • Experience selling into the public sector and understanding of public sector procurement processes
