Genesis10 is currently seeking an Sr. Project Manager Consultant with our client in the transportation industry in their Atlanta, GA and Bloomington, MN locations. This is a 12 + month contract position.

Seeking a Sr. Project Manager

Responsibilities:


  • Work with project teams within IT, business and cross-functional teams
  • Help teams align on milestones and goals, effective communication and ensuring projects remain on-track
  • Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure successful project delivery
  • Facilitate meetings and working sessions with IT and app teams
  • Help teams develop and manage project activities including but not limited to scope, timelines, budgets and resources
  • Define the objectives and develops suitable strategies for the program
  • Formulate, organize, and monitor inter-connected projects and gradually shift towards assessing program performance to maximize ROI, controlling deadlines, budgets, etc. and evaluating project managers and other staff
  • Plan the delivery of the overall program and its activities in accordance with the mission and goals of the organization
  • Develop an annual budget and operating plan to support the program
  • Ensure that program activities operate within the policies and procedures of the organization
  • Ensure that programming activities comply with all relevant legislation and professional standards
  • Oversee the collection and maintenance of records on the clients of the program for statistical purposes according to the confidentiality/privacy policy of the organization
  • Supervise program staff by providing direction, input, and feedback
  • Coordinate the delivery of services among different program activities to increase efficiency
  • Monitor and approve all budgeted program expenditures
  • Develop and implement long-term goals and objectives to achieve successful outcome of program
  • Develop a program evaluation framework to assess the strengths of the program and to identify areas for improvement
  • Interviews and selects well-qualified program staff
  • Establish and implement a performance management process for all program staff
  • Ensure all staff members receive orientation and appropriate training in accordance with organizational standards
  • Monitor cash flow projections
  • Manage all project funds according to established accounting policies and procedures
  • Develop new initiatives to support the strategic direction of the organization
  • Develop funding proposals for the program to ensure the continuous delivery of services
  • Implement the human resources policies, procedures and practices of the organization
  • Communicate with clients and other stakeholders to gain community support for the program and to solicit input to improve the program
  • Ensure financial reports and supporting documentation for funders are prepared as outlined in funding agreements
  • Identify and evaluate the risks associated with program activities and take appropriate action to control the risks



Requirements:

  • Degree Type Major/Certification
  • 6 + years of experience
  • Product Owner (Business & IT) Description



Desired skills:

  • Experience deploying monitoring tools
  • Working knowledge of SharePoint



Pay Range: $64.73 - $72.73
