This position has a Sign-on Bonus of $20,000. This position is a Full-time day position (7a to 7p).

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Med-Surg Renal Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess specialized knowledge in both medical-surgical care and renal nursing, providing expert care to patients with renal and other complex medical conditions. This role involves collaboration with an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care within the renal specialty unit.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers, with an emphasis on renal therapies.
• Monitor and interpret renal function tests and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition.
• Collaborate with nephrologists, dietitians, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Educate patients and families about renal disease management, including dietary recommendations and lifestyle modifications.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
• Engage in continuous professional development activities to keep abreast of advances in renal nursing.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING:

1. Current and valid state RN License.
2. Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
3. Current ACLS (AHA) certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current preferred.
4. Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
5. Ventilator Management experience preferred.
6. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
