Summer Intern - Commercial

Patriot Rail is currently looking for Summer Interns for its Corporate office in Jacksonville, FL. for its Commercial Team!

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Market research for specific regions where we operate, e.g. Salt Lake City, N. California, Denver and Dallas.
2. CRM - assist in cleaning up database; and adding customer contacts and opportunities.
3. Industrial Development - identify sites that we can promote to customers to land new production facilities.
4. Cold calling to generate leads for our sales team.
5. Support strategic growth projects.
6. Research on short line competition and Class 1 intel.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

* Effective oral and written communication skills

* Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint

* Degree or working toward a degree in Business, Marketing or related degree program.

* Must possess flexibility with work assignments and be able to multi-task.

* Must be detail-oriented, accurate, and organized.

* Must have valid driver's license.

* 18 years of age or older
