Job Summary

Cognizant is looking for a Senior React Developer with experience in developing customized product for our clients. The role is expected to drive technology discussions and analyze the current landscape for gaps in addressing business needs. Cognizant needs a motivated individual to challenge the status quo and provide thought leadership/best practices to enhance our current services and technologies.

Responsible for setting technical direction, ensuring the scalability and performance of our apps, and mentoring a team of developers. This position requires a deep understanding of mobile architecture and a passion for creating high-quality, user-friendly applications.

Responsibilities:

* Define and implement the overall architecture for mobile applications using React Native.

* Lead the development team in building robust, scalable, and high-performance applications.

* Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define technical requirements and project timelines.

* Ensure the quality and performance of applications through code reviews, testing, and best practices.

* Identify and resolve technical challenges and bottlenecks.

* Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation.

Requirements:

* Extensive experience with React Native and mobile application development.

* Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.

* Deep understanding of mobile architecture and design patterns.

* Experience with native mobile development (iOS/Android) and integration with native modules.

* Familiarity with RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and continuous integration.

* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
