Job Description

We are looking for an Associate Procurement Manager to join our growing team!In this role, you will implement procurement strategies assisting with procurement initiatives, contract negotiations, and supplier management. This entry-level role focuses on building foundational procurement skills and contributing to the efficiency and effectiveness of our procurement processes. As an Associate Procurement Manager, you will implement developed procurement initiatives & strategies, review SOWs and Change Requests based on negotiated rates and templates and maintain supplier relationships. This position involves operational and administrative responsibilities and offers the opportunity to build a stronger foundation in procurement practices and processes.

As Associate Procurement Manager, your duties and responsibilities will include:

Operational and Administrative Support

  • Implement category strategies from negotiated RFx's procurement projects, including supporting RFx processes and supplier evaluations
  • Draft, review, and redline simple contracts, including SOWs, amendments, and NDAs, ensuring accuracy and compliance with templates
  • Manage intake forms, reporting metrics, and approval workflows within SAP Ariba to ensure efficient operations

Supplier Management

  • Support supplier performance reviews by gathering metrics and tracking progress against defined objectives
  • Coordinate supplier evaluations to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation

Process Improvement

  • Identify and implementing process improvements to enhance the efficiency of procurement operations
  • Ensure all required documentation and workflows are completed accurately and on time

Collaboration and Communication

  • Work closely with procurement managers and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on procurement goals
  • Serve as a liaison between suppliers and internal teams to support smooth and effective communication
Qualifications

WHAT IT TAKES TO CATCH OUR EYE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years in procurement, contract management, or a related field
  • Basic understanding of contract negotiation and procurement workflows
  • Experience in SAP Ariba and procurement database systems
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing procurement processes and documentation
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate across teams
