Who You Are * You are able to work efficiently independently and are a strong team player. What You'll Do/ A Day in The Life Typically Includes Performs the necessary functions regarding; claims investigation, auditing carrier invoices, freight pay, accounting accruals, and freight recovery. Responsible for maintaining organized files and reporting discrepancies or opportunities for the cost savings to the Manager of Transportation. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (The following statements describe the general nature of work being performed in this job. They are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties. Additional responsibilities may be assigned by management): * Audit freight bills and protect from overcharges. Assure all discounts are properly applied and all rebates are received based upon the carrier agreement.
