Description

Position Summary: The Driver/Courier drives automobile or light truck to deliver messages, documents, packages and mail to various business concerns or governmental agencies. Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Perform messenger service daily between the RNMC office, branch offices, individual customer locations, and the U.S. Postal Service. Messenger trips will be over pre-determined routes at regularly scheduled times. Occasionally non-scheduled trips may be necessary as required by daily operations.
- Only mail scheduled for designated trip is loaded on vehicle. Trips depart at scheduled times. Mail is delivered to proper address or stop on designated trip. No mail is left on the vehicle overnight.
- Receive, sort, deliver and/or pick up mail, parcels, and packages as required by site. Process outbound mail. Capture, review and submit performance metrics and provide reports to the Program Manager.
- Implement and manage the Quality Control Plan.
- Coordinate, facilitate and/or provide training to Contractor staff onsite pertaining to their respective duties.
- Ensure SOP's are updated and implemented. Implement corrective measures as needed when issues/deviations from established performance standards are identified.
- Maintain logs and other pertinent documentation as required.
- Inspect and clean the government furnished equipment as required.
- Must wear all the protective equipment required by department.
- Must follow all company policies and procedures including departmental safety policies.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Qualifications (Minimum education, experience, training, licensure, certification):
- Ability to read above a 6th grade level.
- Possess a valid driver's license, insurance verification and documented driving history.
- Must be able to operate a Personal computer.
- Ability to obtain Secret Clearance.

Overall physical requirements of the job:
- H-Heavy Work - Exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force
frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Medium Work.
