Job Title: Branch Inventory Administrator

Full Time / Non-Exempt

Location: Glen Burnie, MD

Reports To: Senior VP


General Summary: The Branch Inventory Administrator must be accessible to management/branch personnel in over 300 locations to ensure inventory settings are compliant, identify/research inventory movement, assist in inventory related investigative processes where/when needed and to provide instruction to management regarding the use of the inventory management system.

Duties Include:

  • Responsible for working with branches to ensure inventory settings are complaint.
  • Responsible for the return of "dead stock" to Central Distribution.
  • Works with managers on proper inventory and in-house computer training.
  • Works with network of other departments including Credit, IT, A/P and Accounting to ensure continuity between Headquarters and branch locations.
  • Maintains and coordinates in-house training materials and courses as required for employees.
  • Bi-monthly submission of educational/informational article for Employee Newsletter.
  • Position requires continuous availability to respond to end users request for assistance in regards to the use of the inventory management system.
  • Daily, continuous phone calls and face to face interactions with co-workers.
  • Other duties as assigned.



Requirements Include:

  • Limited traveling may be required.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
  • In Depth knowledge and understanding of current inventory management system.
  • Excellent follow up.
  • Professional telephone manner.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced work environment.
  • PC Skills; including intermediate Word, Excel and Internet.
  • Working in a temperature controlled office environment, employee may be required to sit, bend, and stoop.
