We have an exciting opportunity for aPre-Construction Project Managerlocated in Fond du Lac, WI . How you will contribute: This is a great opportunity to showcase your Pre-construction skills while playing a key role in acquiring profitable mechanical work for the company by working with customers, internal sales, estimating, and management teams. You will work as a member of the Pre-construction team, providing early high level budgets as well as conceptual and schematic design budgets. You will work in partnership with our estimating team to provide appropriate estimates at milestone dates to the customer. You will be responsible for providing accurate and timely estimates based on the customer's requirements for each project. The Pre-Construction Project Manager is a technical expert and is, therefore, a key participant in bid/no-bid decisions, in partnership with sales and management. What you need to qualify: Ahern will help make the most of your Bachelor's Degree, or the equivalent combination of education and/or experience, preferably in Pre-construction or HVAC engineering. 5 years or more of mechanical experience is essential and prior experience Pre-construction or HVAC Engineering in a construction environment is highly desirable. Experience may have been attained through other related roles such as design, project management, or sales. Strong mathematical aptitude is essential.
