Buckeye Partners is currently seeking a Specialist, Information Management with experience in the Oil & Gas Industry to join our growing team!

Role Summary:

The Specialist, Information Management is responsible for supporting drawing improvement program and analyzing, troubleshooting and preparing equipment tagging lists.

Responsibilities & Essential Functions include:

Drawing Improvement Program



  • Assist scope development, support engineering service provider and internal resource efforts, track schedule, communicate/coordinate with key stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and engage with key stakeholders on review and approval of engineering drawings and equipment tagging lists delivered from drawing improvement program
  • Maintain tracking tool for status of drawings across all facilities and identify priorities and scope for program.
  • Oversee drawing audit process for maintenance of improved drawings.



Equipment Tagging



  • Analyze equipment tagging lists delivered from third parties for J.D. Edwards (JDE) data uploads to ensure quality of data input meets standards and is consistent across organization
  • Troubleshoot data discrepancies found during analysis with internal and external stakeholders
  • Support internal project teams with the reconciliation and ordering of equipment tagging.
  • Prepare equipment tagging lists for internal & external customers



Other Responsibilities



  • As assigned, perform drawing package submission into document management system
  • As assigned, review engineering drawings against standard and provide feedback
  • And other duties as assigned.



Position Requirements:



  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • 1-3 years related experience is required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with reviewing engineering drawings.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products is required.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Travel Requirements: 10% travel possible.


Preferred Position Skills:



  • Bachelor's degree in engineering.
  • Proficiency using JDE, or similar system.
  • Pipeline & terminal industry knowledge and experience.

  • None required.

  • This role continuously operates a computer and other office productivity equipment (i.e. a calculator, copy machine and computer printer).
  • The employee is frequently required to effectively communicate with others.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
