Guest Services Representative - Part Time Bloomington, MN, USA Req #960 Saturday, February 1, 2025 PURPOSE: To ensure guests have a positive shopping and entertainment experience by acting as the mall's front-line guest service ambassador. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES: Provide all callers and visitors to the guest service desks and kiosks with prompt and courteous service Greet guests in a professional manner, providing requested information efficiently Assist guests with the purchase of MOA gift cards, merchandise and rental items such as strollers and electronic carts Oversee monetary transactions using a computerized point of sale system Be able to account for all funds by accurately ringing sales and counting out Ensure that all monetary transactions are completed using established cash handling procedures Coordinate MOA lost and found program Listen to guest issues and direct the matter to appropriate staff for resolution Ensure overall cleanliness and safety of the work area May provide support in other work areas as needed Regular and consistent attendance. Other duties as assigned. PREFERRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES: Must be at least 16 years of age High School Diploma or equivalent 1-2 years post secondary education preferred At least 2 years previous guest service experience Previous cash handling experience required Must possess outstanding guest service skills Excellent written and verbal communication Basic computer skills PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS: Perform repetitive motion (using keyboard) - Frequently Stand and move - Frequently Reach at or below shoulder level - Frequently Stoop/Squat - Frequently Push/Pull -- Frequently Lifting/carry up to 40 pounds (strollers) -- Frequently Kneel and bend - Occasionally Reach at or above shoulder level -- Frequently Handle larger items such as boxes or packages (strollers) - Frequently STARTING PAY: $15.50 Pay is based on many aspects which vary based on position. These include labor markets and, in some instances, may include education, work experience and certifications.
