Responsibilities
The Oaks outpatient programs incorporate a range of services to adolescents, adults and seniors, including; physician oversight, medication management, group therapy practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and clinical assistance tailored to help our clients achieve their treatment goals. Offering premiere behavioral health services for individuals experiencing psychiatric and /or substance abuse symptoms that negatively affect daily functioning. Website: https://heritageoakshospital.com/ The Chemical Dependency Counselor is responsible for providing direct patient care, in compliance with Joint Commission standards of care and for adult patients under circumstances of chemical dependency, substance abuse or addictions.

Qualifications Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited college or university in social work or related field preferred. LADC preferred; CADC required. Experience: Experience and expertise in dual diagnosis, 12-step programs and substance abuse.
