Are you ready to take it to the next level? Synopsys is looking for someone with an SOC Project Engineering management experience to plan and manage complex Subsystems and Hardening projects using bleeding edge Synopsys IP and EDA tools implementing the latest protocols on the most advanced process nodes for Synopsys' most important customers. If you have experience managing similar types of projects and can break down barriers to get it done, then this position is for you.

The ideal candidate will have most of the attributes below:
* Advanced Degree
* Typically requires 10+ years of experience including a high-level SoC management role with demonstrated success
* Knowledge of high-speed protocols such as PCI Express, CXL, DDR and HBM, Ethernet, USB, and MIPI
* Strong understanding of the full ASIC design flow from front-end to back-end
* Familiarity with advanced EDA tools for verification and implementation
* Familiarity with Automotive Functional Safety (FuSa) and Multi-Die (Chiplet) based design
* Customer facing experience including working as partners with sales and application engineering teams
* Drive and initiative to get the job done, whatever it takes, in a large organization with multiple teams
* Able to manage concurrent high-intensity projects and stay cool under pressure
* Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, presented) with the ability to influence others for positive outcomes

Your responsibilities will include:
* Planning complex IP Subsystem and Hardening projects in conjunction with other IP and Service Project Engineering Managers
* Preparing and delivering technical proposals to customers
* Working with sales and applications engineers to refine requirements and proposals
* Coordination with IP teams responsible for IP building blocks and with other teams responsible for aspects of the project execution, e.g. DFT, subsystems, synthesis, physical design, signal and power integrity
* Tracking execution of the project to keep it on schedule and within cost and to address any risks or issues as they arise.
* Driving internal initiatives to improve design methodologies including adoption of the latest EDA tools

In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible for an annual bonus, equity, and other discretionary bonuses. Synopsys offers comprehensive health, wellness, and financial benefits as part of a of a competitive total rewards package. The actual compensation offered will be based on a number of job-related factors, including location, skills, experience, and education. Your recruiter can share more specific details on the total rewards package upon request. The base salary range for this role is across the U.S.
