Description
The Zoological Society of Milwaukee (the Society) is seeking a Volunteer Services Assistant to join a fun and talented team of professionals in supporting one of the most cherished community assets - the Milwaukee County Zoo. This part-time position assists the Volunteer Services Program Manager in implementing the volunteer services program - Zoo Pride - at the Zoological Society of Milwaukee, specifically in coordination, communication and relationship building with volunteers who support Society and Zoo operations. The role works closely with the Conservation Education team in support of the Society's mission to educate people about the importance of wildlife and animals and support the Milwaukee County Zoo (MCZ), and the Conservation Education department's vision to inspire and empower all members of our community to take conservation action. This position will also support staff and volunteers engaged in special events hosted by both the Society and Zoo. This part-time role works up to 29 hours/week. RESPONSIBILITIES
