Chicago, IllinoisAdd to Favorite Jobs Email this Job The Department of Pediatrics at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine is seeking a full-time (1.0 FTE), board-certified pediatrician at the rank of Instructor or Assistant Professor to serve as a Clinician-Educator in the Division of Advanced General Pediatrics and Primary Care. Clinician-Educators in the Division of Advanced General Pediatrics and Primary Care are responsible for providing high quality clinical care for our patients including care to children with medical complexity, educating and supporting our Pediatric Residents and Fellows, and participating in research and advocacy initiatives across the Division. Clinical responsibilities are expected to include both individual Faculty Practice clinical sessions, supervisory sessions in Resident Continuity Clinic, and participation in our overnight parent call service on nights and weekends. There is no inpatient service. Applicants must be board-certified in Pediatrics and have experience in providing top clinical care in an academic setting and participating in the training of Pediatric residents. Ideal candidates should have a strong interest in working with trainees and have a comfort level with caring for children with medical, social, and behavioral complexities. This position will be on the non-tenure eligible track and rank will be commensurate with experience and track record. The position offers a competitive salary and benefits package. The start date is July 1, 2025 and the position will remain open until filled. Base Salary Range: $160,000 - $195,686 The displayed pay range represents base pay targets using designated benchmarks, which are reviewed annually. Individual salary will be determined by years in rank, experience, demand within the specialty, additional training, extramural funding, and strength of publication history. Other compensation opportunities vary but may include mission-based, clinical, research, and academic incentives or additional compensation for leadership roles in line with the respective compensation plan.
