We have an opportunity at our corporate offices in Chicago for a Sr Audio Visual Coordinator I on our Corporate Services team. This is an fully onsite position requiring five days a week in office.

As a Sr Audio Visual Coordinator I, you will provide technical support of all AV equipment including audio and video
conferencing at headquarters and satellite offices in DC and South Carolina.
Support includes inventory, maintenance, and training of support staff and all
end users.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Audio/Visual

  • Provide day-to-day setup and breakdown services for audio/visual systems, including special events to ensure the systems are operational before the start of meetings.
  • Work with staff to review meeting requirements and provide solutions for daily meetings.
  • Run virtual hybrid events using Microsoft Teams and Zoom.
  • Perform regular maintenance of the AV systems to include inventory, maintenance logs, service, and replacement parts and maintain manufacturer software and firmware updates and warranties.
  • Make recommendations for audio/visual purchases.
  • Coordinate the removal and reinstallation of equipment as needed.
  • Responsible for installing, programming and setting frequencies on wireless equipment.

Training and Operations Support

  • Provide ongoing training to support staff and end users.
  • Maintain and update quick reference materials for the audiovisual systems.
  • Provide support in the operation of room scheduling.

May include other responsibilities as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

  1. High
    School Diploma or equivalent education required; Bachelor's degree
    preferred with a concentration in audio/visual.
  2. Minimum 3+ years' experience with audio visual technologies.
  3. Diploma in Audio/Visual Technologies preferred.
  4. Working knowledge in Microsoft word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Adobe. InfoComm CTS certification a plus.
  5. Demonstrated experience working with flat panel displays, video projectors, video switching and distribution systems, and CATV distribution systems.
  6. Experience in Crestron systems; load, test and modify various DSP control set-up software-Extron, Polycom, etc
  7. Logitech and Zoom certified preferred
  8. Must be customer focused with the ability to work independently with little supervision.
  9. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must possess strong troubleshooting skills
  10. Ability to manage high levels of stress, and multiple projects simultaneously.
  11. Ability to lift to a minimum of 25 pounds.
  12. Some evening and weekend work required.

The salary range for this position is $24.58 to $31.91. This is the lowest to highest salary we believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee's pay within the salary range will be determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to business consideration, geographical location, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
