Sr. Channel Manager

Major Duties

The Sr. Channel Manager will be responsible for driving growth and revenue through the management and optimization of a network of channel partners. This role will focus on developing and executing channel strategies, fostering relationships with key partners, and ensuring alignment with overall business objectives. The Senior Channel Manager will work closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to create solutions that drive value for both partners and the business.

Classification: Exempt. Non-Bargaining.

Responsibilities

  • Channel Strategy Development:
    Develop and execute a comprehensive channel strategy aligned with company sales and growth objectives. Work with cross-functional teams to create plans that maximize partner engagement, sales enablement, and market penetration.
  • Partner Relationship Management:
    Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key channel partners. Establish a regular cadence of attending virtual and in-person partner meetings, channel events, and trade shows. Serve as their primary point of contact for all enterprise quote requests while teaming with assigned Partner Success Manager for simple, SMB quotes and all other inquiries and issues. Ensure timely responses, consistent communication, problem-solving, and support for partners at all times.
  • Sales Performance Management:
    Drive the performance of assigned partners with active engagement to keep CCI's products top of mind when dealing with their clients. Establish sales targets, track KPIs, and conduct regular business reviews with partners to analyze performance, identify opportunities, and set new goals. Maintain a robust sales pipeline and track activity in CRM.
  • Market Expansion:
    Identify and onboard new channel partners to expand the company's reach and market presence. Evaluate potential partners and manage the partner onboarding process.
  • Collaboration with Internal Teams:
    Work closely with internal departments such as partner enablement, marketing, product management, and customer support to align on go-to-market strategies, product offerings, and campaigns. Ensure a seamless partner experience and support in execution.
  • Market Intelligence & Feedback:
    Collect feedback from channel partners to provide insights into market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape. Use this information to refine strategies and offer more effective solutions to partners.
  • Reporting & Analytics:
    Provide regular reports on performance, including sales metrics, growth targets, partner engagement, and pipeline health. Use data to optimize strategies and demonstrate ROI on channel investments.
Qualifications

Qualications:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience with 10 years' related experience

  • Skills:
    • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills
    • Experience in developing and executing sales programs and go-to-market strategies.
    • Knowledge of the telecommunications industry and its products/services.
    • Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce, etc.) and other sales tools.

Position is hybrid work from home/in the field with occasional visits to CCI offices. Physical demands are minimal and generally consistent with the performance of routine office duties. Much of the day is spent sitting at a desk, working with computers, printers, files, and standard office equipment. Otherwise, time is spent meeting with partners at their office or other locations, driving to and from meetings, or attending industry or channel events. Lifting, generally less than 20 pounds occasionally required for transporting boxes, materials and office supplies. Must be able to communicate effectively to perform job tasks. Must have valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record.

Salary

Pay range (commensurate with skills and experience): $68,291 - $102,436
