The Position
2025 Summer Intern - Security and Compliance Department Summary The Genentech Computational Sciences Department (gCS) is building a next-generation data collection application for our high-throughput lab acquisition systems (such as microscopes, sequencers, and robots) with the goal of making more biological knowledge available to our researchers, including biologists and machine learning engineers. As part of a collaboration between the Roche IT Security and Privacy Doman teams, we are searching for a motivated intern to work on risk assessments (vendor and system) to identify potential security and privacy gaps. Create AI Bot to replace vendor assessments and gSITE help. The candidate will work as part of a team furthering our efforts to improve the security and privacy compliance for gCS systems and vendors. This job is located on-site in South San Francisco, CA. Relocation benefits are not available for this job posting. The expected salary for this position based on the primary location of California is $45.00 hour.Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
