What you can expect in this role

As a Spectrum Intern, you'll be essential to two teams - your respective department and your Intern peer group. Department and team-focused projects account for about 80% of your schedule. You'll spend the other 20% on professional development sessions and networking activities, including the Kickoff Conference on May 28th, webinars, community service, cross-functional project, and final presentations.

Internship responsibilities may include

  • Assist with development of project plans and communications to support business unit HR teams' efforts to launch Inclusive Behaviors for Employees eLearning.
  • Engage in efforts to drive a culture of inclusion by partnering on the tracking and reporting of the impact of key inclusion initiatives including D&I Councils, Business Resource Groups (BRGs), Quarterly Inclusion Talks, BRG Mentoring Programs and Employee Culture Survey (if approved).
  • Work with D&I Communications team to develop select content and to amplify messages to the 2025 Internship cohort.
  • Contribute to development of Standard Operating Procedures for D&I Councils.
  • Support efforts to engage Human Resources / Talent Centers of Excellence to integrate inclusion considerations into the employee lifecycle including sourcing/recruiting, learning & development and performance management etc. as needed.

Required qualifications

  • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited College or University completing a Bachelor's Degree
  • Must have at least a 3.0 GPA or greater in current program
  • Ability to travel locally to Spectrum Intern development events and activities throughout the program
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship

Preferred qualifications

  • Ability to analyze and present large, complex data sets in compelling ways with attention to detail
  • Advanced computer proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Must possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate ideas and feedback in a constructive way
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to work in a professional office environment.
