Responsibilities
Director of Social Services - Current LMSW required, LCSW license and inpatient experience is highly preferred. Rockford Center is Delaware's first private psychiatric facility and remains a leader in providing behavioral health care services and continues its commitment to providing quality health care. Rockford Center, a 138-bed acute psychiatric hospital continues to provide a full continuum of behavioral health services to geriatrics, adults, adolescents, and children. The Assessment & Referral Counselor will assess and evaluate the needs of individuals in crisis, and appropriately triage callers based on information gathered, to the most appropriate service to meet their needs. The Director of Social Services at Rockford Center manages a team of full time, part time and PRN master's prepared case managers, as they work to provide compassionate care to our patients. This position is responsible for the overall leadership of the department and is a member of the Hospital Management Team. The Director ensures proper staff assignments are made and follows through with team members to ensure all responsibilities are completed on a timely basis. All of our Social Workers are responsible for delivering quality care to our patients and ensuring their safety and continued care and improvement both while inpatient and as they plan for discharge. Qualifications * Master's degree in psychiatric nursing or social work and/or equivalent combination education and experience.
