Position Overview
The Jr. Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) is an integral member of the FP&A team adding value through data management including data loads into the FP&A system and validation between data sources and reports. The team member will also support the management analysis processes which include preparing monthly reports and updating presentations to key business users.
Responsibilities
- Work with General Ledger team to ensure financial statements align between statutory and management systems
- Assist in the preparation of monthly or quarterly consolidated management deck for Executive team; quarterly bank reporting
- Prepare monthly reports such as Revenue by company, Other Income analysis or pre-close management financial statements as needed
- Provide support during all planning cycles
- Maintain BPC throughout planning processes to ensure all relevant planning factors and system drivers are updated and included (discount, returns and royalty rates, costs per unit, etc)
- Functions as a liaison with IT and individual regions to obtain actuals data at correct level of detail (customers, licenses, silhouettes, etc, load into system, and ensure data properly flows into planning input templates to assist planners with data input
- Update all BPC input schedules and reports with the correct dates and planning category. Keep master data aligned with SAP master data by maintaining BPC dimensions
- Assist the FP&A team as needed by managing ad hoc data and analysis requests to aid in decision making
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to proactively trace data issues to the source and identify gaps/opportunities for improvement within processes & applications
- Maintain technical understanding of BPC platforms and assist with communications to IT on updates, break/fixes and overall maintenance
- Write and analyze reports out of BPC to facilitate data integrity research
- Manage and maintain master data, property attributes, and transactional data across array of BPC dimensions and modules
- Keep all sensitive matters confidential
- Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree preferred in Finance or Accounting; Relevant job experience in lieu of degree will be considered
- Zero (0) to two (2) years of experience in accounting, finance and or audit experience

The salary range for this posted position is $55,000 - $65,000 (plus bonus & benefits) and pertains to candidates located in Western New York. Actual compensation is determined by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, education, essential job duties and requirements, and necessary experience.
