Job Description: System Engineer with extensive experience in System Administration Automation, management and security compliance. Candidate must have experience with the design and modification or architectures to ensure they meet customer requirements. This includes the capability to produce documentation and drawing packages as required. Candidate must also have experience performing product/capability testing and reviews to ensure they meet standards and requirements. Candidate must be prepared to work with a small, mission focused team that frequently interacts with users and the customer. The Level 3 Systems Engineer shall possess the following capabilities:
- Strong System Engineering
- System Administration skills for Windows/Linux
- Familiarity with NetApp, VMware
- Familiarity with Cisco and Juniper devices
- Experience with Visio or other drawing applications
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field (See Note 1) or a related discipline (See Note 2) from an accredited college or university.
- A High School Diploma or GED plus ten (10) years of general system engineering experience (any Process Area).
- A Master's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field (See Note 1) or a related discipline (See Note 2) from an accredited college or university plus four (4) years of systems engineering experience
- A PhD in a Qualified Engineering Field (See Note 1) or a related discipline (See Note 2) from an accredited college or university plus two (2) years of systems engineering experience.
- Note 1 - Examples of Qualified engineering fields include: Aeronautics, Biomedical, Chemical, Civil, Computer, Electrical, Environmental, Mechanical, Nuclear, Software, Systems, and Engineering Management. Similar or comparable degrees will be acceptable.
- Note 2 - Examples of related disciplines include: Chemistry, Computer Science,
- Information Systems, Mathematics, and Physics. Similar or comparable degrees will be acceptable.
- Six (6) years of systems engineering experience
Position requires active Security Clearance with appropriate Polygraph Pay Range: 108,000-164,000 The RealmOne pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
