Short Intro and About the Job

Location- Remote, preferably based in Chicago.

The evian premium waters brand is seeking a high performing Central Region Key Account Manager with ambition and passion to build and expand our iconic brands, evian still and evian Sparkling within the Away from Home Channel (AFH). The role is responsible for the maintenance and execution of the evian business within the On-Premise/Foodservice Channels focusing on Dining, Hotels, Bars/Nightlife, Cafes/QSR, Recreation and other regional non-commercial partners. The Key Account Manager will support the Regional Manager in building and maintain strong partner relationships within the assigned geography at all levels, including customers, operators, and distributor partners. This role will require approximately 30% travel within the dedicated region and ideally sits in Chicago. Previous experience in the beverage category, knowledge of the on-premise/hospitality channel, ability to manage a large customer data-base and experience working with a variety of distribution partners is ideal. This role covers the Central Territory which focus is primarily Chicago market, Las Vegas, and Texas.

Key Responsibilities:

    Execute business plan for the Central Division that are aligned with the water's team business objectives and regional market strategy
  • Account Management of assigned territory including but not limited to, monitoring daily sales, inventory levels, sales trends & KPI's, top customers, program compliance.
  • Maintain data-base of territory including but not limited to: Contract Maintenance, Target lists, Compliance Score-carding
  • Manage pricing, programming and incentives in assigned territory
  • Strong Focus on distributor engagement and new distribution. Engaging, animating and training distribution partners by establishing strong relationships with sales teams, communicating on targets and brand news, tracking compliance, supporting program execution and equipping them with tools for success.
  • Identify new key account opportunities and programming initiatives to grow distribution and accounts.
  • Assists in rollout of national account plans and programs in the assigned region.
  • Deliver presentations including proposals, brand storytelling and staff training
  • Identify and expand Points of Activation (POAs) in existing partnerships to drive sales
  • Compile and analyze sales data reports from various distribution routes to market and reporting tools on a monthly and quarterly basis
  • Support Regional P&L Management, payment processing and financial planning tools/processes.
  • Strong knowledge of local markets (what's new & what's coming), hospitality industry and competition landscape.
  • Liaison and partner with cross-functional teams to advocate on behalf of territory business and customer needs.

The base compensation range for this position is $75,000-105,000 commensurate with experience. About You

  • Minimum of 4 years of sales, account management, or category experience within the CPG industry; beverage experience is a plus
  • At least 2 years of experience in the on-premise channel, which can include sales, distributor, or operator roles
  • Proven ability to deliver on KPI's and execute strategic plans
  • Strong analytical and cross-functional skills with the ability to work in many facets of the total business
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel for events, conferences, and customer meetings

  • Based in Chicago, IL
