Florida Crystals also sustainably farms rice, sweet corn and other vegetables in rotation with our sugarcane. Our rice mill is the only rice mill in Florida.

OVERVIEW

The Sr. Supply Chain Analyst reports to the Manager of Supply Chain Services. This position is responsible for developing, leading and implementing solutions to support various inbound supply chain initiatives and objectives. The analyst will extract, validate and organize data sets in to facilitate recommendations to improve the supply chain. The individual will need to be effective in understanding and managing issues related to the SAP Materials Management (Purchasing and Inventory Management), Reporting Tools, Supplier Management, and technologies.

REQUIRED EDUCATION & WORK EXPERIENCE



  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university plus 4-7 years of relevant work experience
  • At least 1 years of experience utilizing an ERP system in a supply chain/fulfilment capacity
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint at an intermediate to advanced level is required



PREFERRED EDUCATION & WORK EXPERIENCE



  • Degree major in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field is preferred but not required
  • Prior experience using SAP is a plus



POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Leads regional and global supply chain improvement projects on behalf of inbound supply chain
  • Serves as subject matter expert for current and future GPO technologies (Ariba, Analytics, Power BI)
  • Drives continues improvement opportunities identifying process inefficiencies and potential solutions / recommendations
  • Serves as liaison between GPO and IT on technical issues, including root cause analysis and fix implementation
  • Participates in development of GPO long-term strategy and roadmap with IT
  • Establishes and creates Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and training documentation as required
  • Prepares ad hoc presentations and supports Leadership with executive decks as required
  • Develops metrics to track KPIs for identified areas, projects and ad hoc needs
  • Performs other duties as assigned
