What you will do:
The Director of Learning Strategy and Innovation will lead PMI's efforts to develop cutting-edge learning products and strategies that align with our mission. The Director will spearhead product management across the learning portfolio, as well as developing and championing foundational elements of PMI's continuous learning strategy: a research-informed map of emerging content areas critical to project success, a competency system used to tag and evaluate every learning experience we support, and a set of quality benchmarks that set the bar for our internal team as well as any external partnership or content acquisition opportunities. Additionally, this role will help establish the hub of innovation for learning at PMI, incubating new learning products and experiences that set PMI apart.
What you will bring:
* 10+ years of experience in education technology, curriculum development, or innovation practice required.
* Advanced degree in curriculum and instruction, learning science, or product design preferred
* Proven experience in leading the development of innovative learning solutions.
* Strong understanding of trends and technologies in adult learning, instructional design, and professional education.
* Excellent strategic thinking and leadership abilities.
* Experience in managing cross-functional teams and large-scale projects.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
* Commitment to equitable leadership and team practices, including transparency, modeling vulnerability encouraging dissent, interrupting group think, advocating for radical inclusion, and employing active listening.
* Occasional domestic and international travel may be required for internal team or leadership meetings, or for external events, including representing the practices and principles of the learning team to the PMI community and peers in the education, edtech, and professional training space.
