Manager Performance Groups Supply Chain

What you will be doing:

The Manager is a resource for Performance Group members, suppliers, field, contract management and other internal stakeholders to support Performance Group initiatives. The purpose of this position is to create, analyze and manage business opportunities for Performance Groups and collaborate with members and suppliers to develop and implement opportunities. This may include estimating savings opportunities through detailed analytics, developing schedules and project plans, negotiating contracts, identifying projects, managing resources, and overall project management including data and market research to support opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

Member/Supplier Support - 50%

  • Liaise between member, Premier, and suppliers to assist members needing further engagement assistance as it relates to Performance Group contracted suppliers and contracts

  • Negotiate and launch market leading, high value contracts for performance group members including terms and conditions, notification and activation instructions and compliance measurement.

Project Analysis - 30%

  • Develop and deliver communication of analytic insights

  • Lead integration of analytic insight into business processes and outcomes measurement

  • Maintain partnerships and alignment with sourcing, contract management, data management, and specific field force personnel

  • Through analysis, identifies potential business performance improvements and either savings and/or contracting opportunities. May include negotiation of pricing enhancements to existing or new contracts.

Contract Uptake and Compliance Audits - 10%

  • Develop an extensive understanding of key contracts and initiatives

  • Maintain close communication with field, contract managers, and suppliers to ensure uptake/compliance and GPO revenue performance

  • Develop additional tools to that provide valuable information to assist members with conversion and compliance measurement, and to ensure complete conversion materials are available for field staff and members

  • Collaborate with Contract Managers, Sourcing, Performance Group team, members and field team to understand off contract revenue opportunities to increase contract compliance/uptake

  • Develops tools/resources for the membership and field team to assist in conversions when necessary including the Performance Group Portal

Management - 10%

  • Supervise, coach, mentor and develop staff

  • Assist other staff in meeting deliverables

Required Qualifications

Work Experience:

Years of Applicable Experience - 5 or more years

Education:

High School Diploma or GED (Required)

Preferred Qualifications

Skills:

  • Negotiating and writing contracts

  • Project Management

  • Business Analytics

Relevant Experience to include:

  • Experience with Advanced Business Intelligence (ABI) tools

  • Understanding of healthcare industry

  • Customer relationship management, sales and revenue tracking and driving contract performance and compliance.

  • Having demonstrated negotiating experience and presentation skills.

Education:

Masters
CPSM (ISM Certification)

CMRP (AAHRMM Certification)

    Working Conditions: Remote Travel Requirements: Travel 1-20% within the US Physical Demands: Sedentary: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves remaining stationary most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if movement is required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met. Premier's compensation philosophy is to ensure that compensation is reasonable, equitable, and competitive in order to attract and retain talented and highly skilled employees. Premier's internal salary range for this role is $80,000 - $148,000. Final salary is dependent upon several market factors including, but not limited to, departmental budgets, internal equity, education, unique skills/experience, and geographic location. Premier utilizes a wide-range salary structure to allow base salary flexibility within our ranges.
