Overview

JFG is looking for a Systems Engineer with experience with Banking, Wealth, Document Retention, Security, Mortgaging and Saas applications. The System Engineer will be responsible for implementing and managing software solutions to meet organizational needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software applications, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

This is a remote role. We are targeting a candidate within the JFG footprint in Wisconsin.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Position Specific Responsibilities

  • Provide Tier 2/3 technical support and assistance to users experiencing issues with business systems with a focus on application support & troubleshooting.
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities for automation and provide users with documentation and resources to self help.
  • Provide consultative technical guidance to line of business and project managers as it relates to scoping, design, installation and configuration of assigned technologies.
  • Oversee day-to-day operation of technical environments which includes change, release, performance and availability management.
  • Coordinate with vendors, IT staff, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth deployment for selected solutions.
  • Interfaces with vendors to ensure appropriate resolution during application outages or periods of reduced performance.
  • Capacity planning.
  • Oversee the ongoing maintenance and support of software.
  • Maintain documentation of assigned technologies, configurations, processes, and procedures.
  • Strong customer focus and ability to manage client expectations effectively
  • Participates in the development and implementation of network-related procedures and standards.
  • Configure software to meet organizational requirements and ensure integration with existing systems.
  • ]Manage software licenses and ensure compliance with vendor agreements.

JOB REQUIREMENTS - EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

Five years of system engineer experience is highly desired. Ability to assess new technologies and see appropriate fit with JFG. Bachelor's Degree is preferred but will consider those with 8+ years of IT experience as an acceptable alternative.

  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure and software development life cycle.

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Desired Skills

  • Experience with enterprise-level software solutions.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based software and services.
  • Expertise with Enterprise content management systems (OnBase) , MS M365 Admin, EFT/SFTP file transmission
  • Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for end-users.
  • Familiarity with Financial Institution solutions
