JOB SUMMARY:

The Human Resources Coordinator will serve as the first line of communication between employees, applicants and other customers. The Human Resources Coordinator will assist all customers effectively, timely and courteously.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  1. Performs reception duties to include, but not limited to, answering all phone calls, greeting applicants and assisting them with thorough completion of job application and follow-up. Assists in maintaining good communication between staff, visitors and other business contacts. Prepares files, maintenance forms, personnel files and upkeep of bulletin boards to reflect changes.
  1. Assisting with processing of paperwork to include ICIMS, performance evaluations, transfers, new hires, terminations, and other correspondence as necessary. Assists in the preparation of various personnel reports; ensures their accuracy and completeness.
  1. Processes data entry/recordkeeping appropriately with HRIS system for all employee transactions in accordance with policies and procedures. Orders necessary departmental office supplies using the HSS system and/or requisition process.
  1. Responsible for coordinating the facility New Employee Orientation program, birthday luncheons and assists with employee badges as needed.
  1. Assisting employees with benefit application/issues, payroll check issues, accrual problems, orientation, and any other HR related issues as necessary. Verifies employment on all employees by referring to the personnel records and/or other available means.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • Associates degree preferred.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
  • Prior HR experience in healthcare environment preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years clerical experience required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Programs required
