Engineer II, Drivers & Systems Software

Job Summary:

As an Engineer II, Drivers & Systems Software, you will design, develop, and implement applications for our next generation remote monitoring and clinician notification system. This individual will be responsible for system level design of dashboards, networked communications and alarm notifications connecting data from medical devices.

Minimum Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience full stack development.
• Experience with Java and/or C++ programming language.
• Experience developing applications using Spring/REST/XML/JSON.
• Excellent conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Working knowledge of Operating Systems concept (i.e., multi-threading, scheduling, memory management).
• Experience with hands-on development using object oriented techniques and designs patterns.
• Experience in design and implementation of back end components and services.
• Experience in network programming.
• Experience with relational database modeling and design.
• Ability to excel in a fast paced and dynamic work environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• BS or MS degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
• Ability to work onsite Monday - Friday in Irvine, CA.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Healthcare or medical device experience.
• Experience with HL7 or other healthcare system integration.
• Experience in fault-tolerant, secure and scalable distributed systems.

Compensation: The anticipated range for this position is $95,000 - $115,000. Actual placement within the range is dependent on multiple factors, including but not limited to skills, education, and experience.
