Position Overview

The IT Project Manager III leads a team on one or more complex software development projects and ensures project deliverables are met. Develops and executes master plan to meet project requirements while working directly with the client to resolve issues. Analyzes new and complex project-related problems and creates innovative solutions involving finance, scheduling, technology, methodology, tools, and solution components. Provides applications systems analysis and programming activities for a Government site, facility, or multiple locations. Prepares long and short-range plans for application selection, systems development, systems maintenance, production activities, and necessary support resources. Oversees all aspects of projects.

Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. May substitute equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in project management.
  • Must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in IT project/program management and/or software engineering.
  • Previous experience in Feder Contracts is strongly preferred.
  • Must have previous supervisory experience.
  • Experience in Visio and WorkFlow may required.
  • Must have an advanced proficiency level with MS Office products.
  • Must have an advanced knowledge of all phases of work outlined in contract responsibilities.
  • PMP certification or Certified Scrum Master is strongly preferred and may be required.
  • Must have strong analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for a public trust clearance or higher.
  • U.S. Citizenship (required per government contract).

Compensation:

The annual compensation range for this position is $106,086.00-$124,764.00.

Location Requirements:

Remote employees must reside in the following states: AK, AL, CA, CO, DC, FL, GA, KY, LA, MD, MS, OH, OK, RI, TN, TX, WA.

Travel Requirements:

Travel by car, rail and/or air may be required, up to 10% of the time. The percentage of time traveling will vary widely based on the circumstances.
