The Training and Development Specialist fosters a learning culture by engaging, supporting, and inspiring employees, driving the T&PD Pillar initiative to support the TPM model and enhance employee engagement. They use change management tools and loss analysis thinking to determine training needs and drive successful outcomes. The specialist plans, organizes, and tracks a variety of training activities, identifying gaps and working with employees to improve job skills. They also help supervisors enhance interpersonal skills and may create individualized training plans. The role requires proactive change management, collaboration with Pillar leaders, and the ability to think strategically and execute plans. The ideal candidate will be an effective communicator and influencer, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new tools like Power BI.

What you will do:
Own the Training & People Development Pillar and drive cultural change Maintain daily floor presence and deliver training on key programs (High Performing Work Teams, TPM, Quality Systems) Assess training needs, guide employees through appropriate methods, and collaborate with HR and department managers to identify gaps Contribute to the Training Strategy and development of training plans, and build an internal network of trainers Support employee career and individual development, cooperate with external vendors for tailored training Coordinate and deliver training using various methods (classroom, computer-based, hands-on, workshops) Work with leaders to create Standard Work and manage routing approvals, support TPM activities Monitor team progress against the Master Plan and adjust as needed to meet objectives Prepare training materials, evaluate course quality, and conduct surveys to assess training effectiveness Manage training records for Safety, Environmental, and Health requirements, and administer exams to evaluate performance Introduce best practices and ensure compliance with procedures through training and audits.

Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma Bachelor's degree OR 4 years' experience in a manufacturing environment 2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment Proficiency in the use of MS Office programs (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc.)
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Applied Sciences, or related field (Highly Preferred) Experience with SAP, Power BI, and routine statistics 2+ years' experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and training delivery (scheduling, tracking, reporting) Experience with TPM and/or HPWS Instructional or curriculum design experience Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, leadership, and coaching skills Excellent facilitation, communication, and negotiation abilities

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range The pay range for this position is $72,700.00 - $109,100.00. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
