Position SummaryThe University of New Mexico's Department of
Emergency Medicine is seeking to hire a driven, collegial, and ambitious
student to assist with clerical work. Under limited supervision, the successful
candidate will assist with a wide variety of activities including updating and
maintaining files, extracting data from reports, entering data into databases
and creating spreadsheets as needed. Additionally, they may be required to
assist in preparing PowerPoint presentations, organizing office supplies,
receiving packages, typing, copying and scanning documents, as well as
composing/drafting/editing correspondence, preparing various documents and
other duties as assigned.

  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Word and Excel

  • Ability to create and edit written materials
  • Organizing and coordinating skills
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems
