The Division of Biomedical Sciences at the UCR School of Medicine has a rich tradition of high-impact research on medically relevant topics, student-centered teaching excellence and a service within the academic community.
Under general supervision from the PI, the incumbent will assist in projects related to infection and inflammatory diseases in mouse model and human primary blood cells. Key duties will be maintaining mouse colonies, maintaining parasite life cycle, genotyping, immune assays (immunofluorescent staining), macrophage culture, general lab maintenance. The full salary range for the Lab Assistant II is $22.11 - $26.05 hourly. However, the expected pay scale is up to $23.87 per hour. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs. Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff.
