Job Description

Evaluate and monitor wafer fabrication operations to maintain the process and process equipment. Investigate tool related process, yield and rework problems. Assist engineers in the evaluation and implementation of process and equipment changes. Work on assignments that are moderately complex in nature, where judgment is required in resolving problems and making recommendations.

This Job Is For You If

* You are able to set up, monitor, and adjust process equipment.
* You are able to set up and perform diagnostic tests and evaluate results.
* You can perform technical equipment calibration and characterization.
* You can disposition production lots that are out of specification limits and recommend changes to resolve routine problems.
* You can assist in identifying and correcting equipment malfunctions.
* You are able to process test runs and conduct test for engineering to identify yield problems or test new products.
* You are able to perform in-process control measurements and maintain records.
* You can assist in training production personnel and lower level technicians.
* You can conduct pre-production operations and prepare detailed record of procedures and results.
* You are able to conduct processing experiments on devices to prove or improve engineering design.
* You can conduct tests on devices/wafers by applying advanced techniques and criteria to obtain data required for process studies.

Job Requirements

* Requires an AA/AS degree or equivalent experience.
* Two or more years of technical experience in the semiconductor industry.
* Some knowledge of semiconductor wafer processing.
* Some knowledge of SPC, failure analysis, and various software monitoring tools.
* Experience with MS tools - Excel, Word, Powerpoint.
